Episode coming at some point!

Hi all,

If you're one of the more perceptive listeners of our podcast, you may have noticed that we haven't had a podcast this week.  Corey and I were both out of town on the weekend and I'm ass-deep in recording stuff with my band New Stems, so we haven't had any time to get together and do an episode yet.  There should be one up within the next few days.  Apologies for the late notice!

We're totally sick.

Hello all.

This is totally shitty because we're just starting our new schedule now, but it looks like this week's episode is going to be late.  What I thought was a simple hangover has morphed into some ungodly feverish type thing - hence why I'm posting this at 6:45 AM.  Based on pure conjecture, it's possible that I have food poisoning, though I can't yet verify that - I'm going to the doctor today hopefully so we'll see.  If that's not enough information for you, I could tell you my complete pooing schedule, but that probably would not delight you. And Corey was so sick yesterday that he couldn't even go celebrate Mother's Day with his mama!  So yeah, we're not in the best of health at the moment, which runs contrary to being loud, which is, y'know, kind of our namesake.  We'll be recording the episode ASAP, and will update you on this here blog as we try to heal our sloppy selves.  Sorry folks.

Peace and Love,
DK

Episode 27 has been updated

Hey folks,

The link to Episode 27's been fixed.  Why the fuck-up? It's a long story, but in short, I was experimenting with converting it to different file types to make the file smaller and more economic for downloading.  Instead, it ended up messing up my whole process.  My bad.  Fixed now, should be good on iTunes in a bit.  Sorry for the mix-up.

A special episode, incoming!

Love,
DK

Hey you!  Are you in a band?  Do you love free publicity?  Do you want two guys from an award-winning* podcast to play your songs on air and talk about them at length?  Then we want you!  We have pretty wide tastes in stuff, so whether your band is neo-classical crustpunk or avant-garde singer-songwriter death metal, WE WANT TO HEAR IT.  Send your band info and a few sample songs to twoloudguys@gmail.com and if we like what we hear, we'll play it on the show!

Looking forward to hearing all of your glorious noises,

Episode 14: Family Tree

Download link HERE

The boys assess Wale's newest output. Corey listens to copious amounts of THE METALLZZ. Daniel generalizes and is frustrated with jazz music. Big issues are tackled in response to a listener e-mail.  Hit us up with any questions or comments at twoloudguys@gmail.com!

O LOL.

So remember last time when we said our Tranquilizer Radio page would be where we'd be hosting episodes from now on?  And how we were going to start playing music and doing a bunch of cool things?

Well, turns out we can't do that stuff anymore; the heads of Tranquilizer Radio didn't have the money to keep it up and so they're shutting down the site.

So, yeah, back to the old way of doing things, but fear not!  We'll be trucking like we usually do!  Episodes will be up on Thursdays as they used to be.  At the moment, we're trying to move ourselves over to a Wordpress site, so that maaayybbbee we can get this frickin' amazing podcast on to iTunes finally.  In fact, to that end, if you or anyone you know are particularly tech-savvy, send 'em our way so that we can get this thing happening.

Until then, keep coming here!  We'll have last week's episode up in a bit, and we'll likely be posting this week's around Thursday night.  Keep listening and sending us e-mails and stuff.

Love,
TLG

More new things!

Hey hey people!  Few bits of cleanup to do here:

1) Our page on Tranquilizer Radio is finally up!  You can find it here.  From now on, all episodes and show notes will be up there, and we'll just be using this blog to post updates about the show.

2) More importantly, our time slot on Tranqulizer Radio has been moved!  Our new time is Saturdays at 1pm EST.  This means that new episodes for download are now on Sundays instead of Thursdays.  So adjust your calendars!

3) I think that's it.  We like e-mails!  Send them to us at twoloudguys@gmail.com!
