Tomorrow's episode is going to be off the chain

Hey all,

We thought we'd have our archive page up on Tranquilizer Radio, so we didn't post last week's episode here.  Turns out it's going to take them a bit longer, so we ARE gonna have last week's episode up here, though probably not until tomorrow morning.

BUT BESIDES THAT, we recorded our Top 10 of 2011 episode yesterday and it's turning out to be frickin' awesome.  Two and a half hours long, a ton of albums discussed, songs actually played like a for-reals radio show - it's a goddamn extravaganza.  If you've listened to the podcast before and dug it, you'll love this episode; if you haven't, this is the place to start.  So yeah: Tranquilizer Radio, tomorrow night (that's Thursday, Dec. 29), 8pm EST.  Hope you guys tune in and enjoy!

Show Time

Our first episode for Tranquilizer Radio will be on-air Thursdays at 8pm. Still working out when it'll be on iTunes, we'll let you know when we know.

Just as a heads-up, we'll be keeping this blog running in order to give you updates and stuff, and we'll still be putting up our episodes here as well, at least until we've got everything available on iTunes.

I think that's all the maintenance we need for today. Tune in to Tranquilizer Radio at 8pm on Thursday for this week's episode!

The Exciting Announcement!

Ready for it?

We're gonna be featured on an......INTERNET RADIO STATION! Yes indeedy, our new home is going to be on Tranquilizer Records's radio station, aptly named Tranquilizer Radio.

So what does this mean for you, the listener? Essentially, not too much. The podcast will still go up on Thursdays, but playing at a specific time on the radio station (we're not exactly sure when yet). Despite this, we might even still post it here as well. We're not sure yet. BUT ANYWAYS, after the show gets played on air, it'll go up on iTunes. That's right; we're finally going to be on iTunes!

Other than that, the show itself is the same. We might actually get to play some music now; we'll see. Oh, and we have a logo and a banner now, designed by our friend Jacky Atkin and drawn by the very-talented Mariel Zinman. So look out for that; they're pretty great.

It's exciting, people! Are you excited yet? GET EXCITED, FER CHRISSAKES.

'Sup kids?

Today's episode would normally up by now, but I got totally swamped with homework and a recording I was helping a friend with, so I haven't been able to finish this episode yet. It should be up today around 3 or 4, so don't fret; you're still getting your episode, just a little later than usual. So yeah, sorry hombres. Check back mid-afternoon for a new episode.
